This place has what is probably the best airport food I've ever had. We got red beans and rice, gumbo, and a cheeseburger. I'd put the gumbo and rb&r up against any I've had in New Orleans. Even the burger was better than most. Well seasoned beef topped with cheese, pickles and remoulade. Nice and simple without tomatoes, onions and lettuce to get in the way.

Food was surprisingly good. I got the chicken po-boy and my companion got the cheeseburger burger. Nice steak fries, everything cooked properly. Service was great! Erica is a great server, friendly, and helpful. Ambiance: well, it's an airport so it's really nice considering that. Nice beer and wine selection too.

Food was tasty. You order from the code on the table through your phone. And pay that way too. Wait staff brings out your drink and food then brings the bill. I ordered the shrimp and grits with andouille sausage and tomatoes. They do not cook the tomatoes and andouille in the sauce. They put them on top. One of the sausage was not cut all the way through and they only gave me a spoon so I had to carve it apart. I prefer my sausage with crispy edges. This was just a couple of pieces of sausage thrown on top. I make an awesome shrimp and grits and prefer mine to this one. The sauce separated and the oil cane to the top. I just stirred it up. Cost was 27.99. Water was 4.39. I expected it to be pricey. It is. I did clean the bowl though as it was tasty overall.

Service by Ms. Erica was terrific. Ambiance was nice. It was a fun and classy atmosphere. Prices were reasonable but on the more expensive side for airport restaurants. They offer food that includes Louisiana cuisine famous to the local area. Banana pudding is amazing! The caesar salad was tasty, but it is served with extremely heavy dressing. Next time, I would order the dressing on the side. Kids liked their pizza. This restaurant was very accommodating. They allowed the kids to do 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni on the cheese pizza they shared. Also cool, they offer some fountain sodas as well as some bottled sodas/beverages. Nice to have that choice. Would definitely eat here again when in the area. I do recommend.

This is a nice spot to stop by while waiting for your flight. We both enjoyed our meals and had a great view of the runways, which added to the experience. Since it's located in the airport, expect a fair amount of noise from movement and announcements, but that's to be expected. We tried the Caesar salad and the fried chicken po' boy. While we've had better po' boys in the French Quarter, this one was fresh and tasty. That said, it could have used a bit more seasoning--I found myself adding salt and pepper. One thing to note: the restaurant is fully QR code-based for both the menu and ordering. If you prefer a physical menu, you'll need to ask for one. You can order and pay through your phone, but we still chose to communicate directly with our server and ordered from her. It was very busy when we were there, and we ended up spending about an hour and a half dining, which made us rush to catch our flight. The service was slow, and I suspect it's because they rely heavily on the QR code system, though I can't say for certain. However, our server was fantastic, and we were really grateful for her attentive service.
